Luca Perfetti is an assistant professor in the Physics Department of the Ecole Polytechnique, France. He completed his Ph.D. in the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland, and spent 5 years as a research associate in Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. His research interests are in condensed-matter physics, time-resolved spectroscopy, strongly correlated systems, critical phenomena far from equilibrium, topological insulators, and carbon-based materials.
