Luigi Frunzio is a low-temperature condensed matter experimentalist at Yale University. He specializes in the fabrication and characterization of superconducting quantum circuits for quantum information processing and for fault-tolerant quantum-error-corrected computation. He earned a master’s degree in physics from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, and worked on superconducting electronics at the Institute of Cybernetics of the National Research Council in Arco Felice, Italy. He holds a Ph.D. in physics from University of Paris-Sud in Orsay, France.
