Luis Santos is a full professor at the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. He received his Ph.D. in 1998 at the University of Salamanca, Spain. His research focuses on the theory of ultracold quantum gases. His current interests include dipolar and spinor gases, strongly correlated gases in optical lattices, synthetic magnetism, and disordered quantum systems.
