Marco Avesani received an MSc degree in physics and a PhD in information engineering at the University of Padua, Italy, in 2015 and 2020, respectively. He is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Padua where he works on the security and experimental development of quantum key distribution systems and of quantum random number generators.
