Nathaniel Craig is an associate professor of physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Born in Hawaii and raised in California, he studied physics at Harvard and Stanford before taking up a joint postdoc between Rutgers University and the Institute for Advanced Study. His research spans a broad range of topics in theoretical particle physics, including new approaches to the hierarchy problem, effective field theory, scattering amplitudes, and collider physics. An energetic proponent of future colliders, his work has been recognized by an Early Career award from the Department of Energy and a Cottrell Scholar Award.
