Nick Treanor is a Reader in Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Prior to coming to Edinburgh, he was the Newton Trust Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Churchill College. His research focuses on the quantitative dimension of knowledge (what it is to know more or less) and the connections between this topic and foundational issues in epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of language, and philosophy of science.
