Noah Fitch is a postdoctoral researcher in the Centre for Cold Matter at Imperial College London.  His adventure in physics began at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, and continued at graduate school at JILA in Boulder, Colorado. There, he worked in Heather Lewandowski's group studying Stark deceleration and cold atom-molecule collisions, obtaining his Ph.D. in 2013. He then joined Ed Hind's group at Imperial and is currently working on laser slowing and cooling of diatomic molecules with an eye towards precision measurement applications.
