Sergey E. Skipetrov is a research fellow of the French National Center for Scientific Research (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, CNRS) working in Grenoble, France. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in physics and mathematics from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1998 and his Habilitation in physics from the J. Fourier University in Grenoble, in 2007. His main scientific interests lie in the field of wave propagation in random media, with applications in condensed-matter physics and quantum optics.
