Smitha Vishveshwara

Smitha Vishveshwara is a professor of physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her work spans a broad range of topics in condensed matter and cold atomic physics, including strongly correlated phases of matter, topological systems and anyons, critical phenomena, and nonequilibrium quantum dynamics. She collaboratively melds her passion for the sciences and arts in productions, such as the performance pieces Quantum Voyages and Quantum Rhapsodies.
