Stephen M. Wu is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester, New York, in both the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2012, and then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Argonne National Laboratory. His research primarily focuses on creating nanoelectronic and quantum electronic devices from unconventional quantum materials, with applications in conventional electronic, spintronic, and quantum information devices.
