Tyler Harvey is a postdoctoral researcher at the National Center for Electron Microscopy at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, where he works on the development of transmission electron microscopy techniques. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Oregon on applications of electron vortex beams. His postdoctoral work at the Georg August University of Göttingen in Germany focused on ultrafast Lorentz microscopy and imaging chiral materials with photon-induced near-field electron microscopy. He is currently designing electron mirrors for multipass electron microscopy and 4D-STEM.
