Valdas Pasiskevicius is Professor of Physics at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He received his M.Sc. in Physics from Vilnius University, and Ph.D. from the Institute of Semiconductor Physics also in Vilnius, Lithuania. Since 1996 he has worked at the Royal Institute of Technology. His research interests include nonlinear optics, engineered nonlinear optical materials, and backward-wave parametric processes.
