Valentina Zhelyazkova is a senior researcher in the Institute of Molecular Physical Science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich. She received her PhD from Imperial College London in 2014 for her work on the laser cooling of calcium fluoride molecules. Her research interests are focused on experimental atomic and molecular physics and on understanding the mechanisms behind reaction dynamics at very low temperatures. Before her appointment at ETH Zurich, she held a postdoctoral position at University College London.
