Yuan Wan is currently a postdoctoral research assistant at the Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford, UK. He obtained his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Canada. Broadly interested in condensed-matter physics, his latest research focuses on geometrically frustrated systems in and out of equilibrium.

Topological Insulators

Viewpoint: Topological Insulators Turn a Corner

Theorists have discovered topological insulators that are insulating in their interior and on their surfaces but have conducting channels at corners or along edges. Read More »
