Eduardo Fradkin is a Professor of Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Ph.D. in physics from Stanford University in 1979. He has worked on problems in condensed matter physics and gauge theory. He is interested in the physics of strongly correlated systems such as high Tc superconductors and in topological phases of quantum condensed matter.

Fluctuation diamagnetism in high-temperature superconductors

The observation of a strong nonlinear diamagnetic signal well above Tc in several cuprate superconductors constitutes clear evidence of the persistence of local superconducting correlations. Read More »
